NAFTA-gate: Was The Wrong Name Leaked?

Bag of Health and Politics dug up an interesting article in Canada’s Globe and Mail which says it was actually a Hillary aide who gave NAFTA the wink-wink-nod-nod. One way or another, seems like Harper’s gonna get to the bottom of the leak.

Thanks for picking this up and spreading it far and wide. Everyone needs to know that Clinton is really in favor of NAFTA, and won't do anything to help the laid of Steel Worker--just like they did nothing in the 1990s to help Pittsburgh and the rest of Pennsylvania after they sold us out with NAFTA. People should also know that she and Bill are on the payroll of a Saudi Arabian company with ties to the Saudi royal family; they're also directly on the payroll the Chinese Communist Party. With gas at $4 a gallon and thousands of good jobs being sent overseas to China, we don't need a President who is indebted to foreign interests.

The good news, I'm a few miles away from Central PA. We had a bunch of volunteers from PA come down to help us in Maryland. (Pennsylvania is literally five miles from my front porch. I could walk there if I wanted to). So we went up to Chambersburg. They figured they'd be lucky to get 7 volunteers--they got 28. They have some establishment support there too. I'll believe Obama winning Franklin County when I see it, but it reminds me a lot of Frederick County in Maryland which Obama wasn't supposed to win, but won anyway. If Obama can put the central part of the state around Harrisburg together with Philadelphia, split Pittsburgh, and lose everywhere else, I think Obama can win.

He should be looking at how Ed Rendell won the 2002 Governor's election. That is a good model for Obama to follow in PA. Given what we've seen in Pittsburgh, I'll be happy if he loses Allegheny County 55-45.

As for the billboards, this is so funny. Back when I was in Pittsburgh, Jim Ferlo was still on Council and Yarone was his top adviser. Ferlo was fighting the Murphy administration on a similar issue. (I don't know what Jim thinks on this one). But to see the Luke administration, and Yarone, arguing for the billboards is just funny. Where you stand depends on where you sit, I suppose.
